The Northeast Pennsylvania Genealogical Society strives to preserve resource materials of genealogical and historical significance pertaining to ancestors and families throughout Northeast Pennsylvania.  We are open to the public for access to our digital archives on our in-house network.  The Teresa M. McAndrew Memorial Catholic Record Collection is unique to NEPGS.  We provide instruction and assistance in methods of seeking and finding family history data as well as encourage and promote the accurate recording of genealogical information.  Through these efforts, our society members, patrons and generations of families will be instilled with a greater understanding and appreciation of their heritage. Please Note: NEPGS Digital Collections are NOT VIEWABLE ONLINE.  Members and Non-Members alike must either visit in-person or order paid Research Services by our professional staff.
NEPGS Members have full access to our Family History Library, including the Computer, Library, and Microfilm rooms. Non-Member Day Passes are available at the reception desk. All-Inclusive Day Pass $25.00 (Research Room, Library, Microfilm Room) or Readers Pass $15.00 (Library, Microfilm Room).
